Common Questions About Working for Our Company
-
At Turning Tides, you’re trusted as a clinician and supported as a person. We offer the flexibility to build a schedule that fits your life, meaningful one-on-one time with clients, and a collaborative team that values your ideas and professional goals. As a growing multidisciplinary practice, we also provide opportunities to expand your skills, explore your interests, and help shape the future of the company.
-
Our team members receive hands-on support, ongoing training, and regular opportunities to collaborate with other professionals. We provide guidance as you settle into your role, access to specialized training, and mentorship tailored to your experience, strengths, and professional goals.
We also offer supportive supervision for Clinical Fellows as they transition into independent practice. CFs receive regular guidance, constructive feedback, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions and collaborate. You’ll have the independence to grow as a clinician while always having a supportive team to turn to.
New graduate Occupational Therapists receive that same individualized support as they begin their careers. We provide mentorship, opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, and guidance tailored to building confidence in pediatric practice. You’ll have room to develop your clinical style while receiving the support and feedback you need along the way.
-
Our team members have significant flexibility in building schedules that fit their lives. You can share your preferred days, hours, locations, and caseload size, and we’ll work together to match you with clients accordingly. As your availability or goals change, your schedule can grow and adjust with you.
-
We work primarily with pediatric clients across a variety of settings, including homes, private schools, community spaces, and our clinic location. You may provide individual services to children across a range of ages, abilities, and therapy needs. We thoughtfully match each team member with clients and settings that align with their experience, interests, and availability.
-
Our in-home service model allows therapists to earn competitive per-session pay while receiving mileage reimbursement for travel between client visits. Documentation time is built directly into each session, and we’ve streamlined our process to make completing notes as simple and efficient as possible. When you leave your client, your documentation for that session should be finished—no taking notes home with you.
Additional compensation is provided for other administrative duties such as participation in our weekly team meeting and assisting with social media.
