The Heart Behind Turning Tides

I’m Mary Kathryn Thomsen, MS, CCC-SLP, founder of Turning Tides Integrated Therapy. I created Turning Tides to give children and families a more personal approach to therapy, where parents feel heard, children feel seen, and care is never one-size-fits-all. As a speech-language pathologist, I specialize in helping children with speech, feeding, and orofacial myofunctional challenges through focused, one-on-one support. By intentionally maintaining a small caseload, I’m able to provide the time, attention, and thoughtful guidance each family deserves.
